While out recently sharing gift items containing the good news, I was walking down a street and found a group of friendly men who wanted to take what I was offering as a gift. They were very happy to receive it.
As I continued to walk around the streets, a man comes running up to me. His face beaming. He smiles and asks if he can have one also. He did not even know what the great gift which he was about to receive was. He just wanted to have it. I happily gave him his gift as well.
For the Afghans living abroad, they are generally considered lower class. They are not the type to receive gifts from strangers. For them, this is a big deal. For this man in particular, I can only hope that he receives the message of the gift with as great enthusiasm as he did the gift itself.
